Preface

We, TanzBall OM gUG (hereinafter: “the Company”, “we” or “us”), take the protection of your personal data very seriously and would like to inform you here about data protection within our company.

Due to the entry into force of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679; hereinafter “GDPR”), we have been given additional obligations to ensure the protection of personal data of the individuals affected by processing (“data subjects”, hereinafter also referred to as “customer”, “user”, “you”, “your”).

Where we determine the purposes and means of processing personal data either alone or jointly with others, this primarily includes the obligation to inform you transparently about the type, scope, purpose, duration and legal basis of the processing (cf. Art. 13 and 14 GDPR). With this declaration (“Privacy Notice”), we inform you about how your personal data is processed by us.

Our Privacy Notice is modular. It consists of a general section applicable to all processing situations and a specific section, which applies to the use of our websites (Section B).

A. General Information

(1) Definitions

The following definitions are based on Art. 4 GDPR:

“Personal data” (Art. 4(1) GDPR): Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”).
“Processing” (Art. 4(2) GDPR): Any operation performed on personal data, with or without automated means.
“Controller” (Art. 4(7) GDPR): The natural or legal person determining the purposes and means of processing.
“Third party” (Art. 4(10) GDPR): Any person other than the data subject, controller, processor, and persons acting under their authority.
“Processor” (Art. 4(8) GDPR): A person or entity processing data on behalf of the controller.
“Consent” (Art. 4(11) GDPR): A freely given, informed, and unambiguous indication of the data subject’s wishes.

(4) Legal Bases for Processing

Personal data may only be processed if one of the following legal bases applies (Art. 6(1) GDPR):

(a) Consent
(b) Processing necessary for a contract or pre-contractual measures
(c) Legal obligation
(d) Protection of vital interests
(e) Public interest or exercise of official authority
(f) Legitimate interests, provided these are not overridden by the data subject’s rights.

Additional bases for storing/accessing data on user devices are provided by § 25 TTDSG.

(5) Data Deletion and Storage Periods

Personal data is stored only as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as statutory retention periods require.

(6) Data Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data (e.g., TLS encryption).

(7) Cooperation with Processors

We use external service providers who process personal data on our behalf under Art. 28 GDPR.

(8) No Automated Decision-Making

We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling.

(9) Legal Obligation to Disclose Data

Data may be disclosed if legally required under Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

(10) Your Rights

You have the following rights under the GDPR:

B. Visiting Our Websites

Information about us and our services is available at www.tanzmitball.de. When visiting our websites, personal data may be processed.

Anonymised IP address

Contact form data (e.g., name, address, email, timestamp)

Customer account data if you register an account.

Log data: statistical purposes, stability, security (Art. 6(1)(a) or (f) GDPR)
Contact form: processing inquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR)

(4) Duration of Processing

Data is processed only as long as necessary for the stated purposes.

(5) Data Transfers to Third Parties

Possible recipients include:

IT service providers
Public authorities (if legally required)
Accountants, banks, insurers, legal advisors

Data is only shared with third parties upon explicit consent or legal basis.

(6) Cookies, Plugins and Third-Party Services

a) Cookies

Used for functionality, security, analysis; session cookies are deleted automatically.

c) Social Media Plugins

No active plugins; social media icons link passively to provider sites.

d) Google Analytics

Google Analytics is used exclusively with IP anonymisation (“_anonymizeIp()”).
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Users can object via browser plugin or opt-out cookie.
